Semington Village Fete – This Saturday 1:30pm

Every year the fete raises funds for the school, the church and a nominated charity. Since 2012 the fete has raised over £20,000 and has donated to the following charities Breakthrough Trowbridge, Julian House Trowbridge, Carer Support Wiltshire, Stepping Stones Trowbridge, Hope for Tomorrow and Wiltshire Air Ambulance. These are all local causes doing great things in our immediate communities.

This year the nominated charity is The Life Education Bus. This is a specially equipped mobile classroom that visits primary schools across the county. It offers local school children an interesting and interactive learning experience, teaching them how to make healthy choices in their lives in a fun and exciting way.

Please look out for details coming through your door on how to donate raffles prizes and come rain or shine (no football matches, no royal weddings to interfere with the day) we’ll see you at St George’s School on Saturday 6th July with the doors opening at 1.30pm.
