Semington Royal Wedding Day Events

To celebrate the royal wedding there are a number of events taking place in the village.

Children’s Tea Party

Early afternoon there is a free childrens tea party outside the Somerset Arms.
Please bring sandwiches, cakes, crisps etc to share.

Family Treasure Hunt

Walk around the village finding the clues, start from the village hall at 4pm, entry is £2 per family. All entries to be returned by 7:30pm

BBQ at The Village Hall

From 6pm there will be a BBQ at the village hall. Hotdogs are £1.50 and Burgers are £2

Live Music in The Village Hall

From 8pm there will be live music from LEGACY in the village hall.
Tickets are £5

Semington Village Fete this Saturday

This Saturday (3rd July) is the annual village fete on the School Village at 2pm, Entrance is 50p (Under 18’s Free)

On the day there will be music from Wessex Contraband – you may have heard them at the Community Arts Day. Larkrise ponies will be there to ride and other animals to touch and admire. If they aren’t busy working, the Police Dogs will visit too. Try a burger or hot dog – Rev Stephen is shopping to be cooking this year – also enjoy delicious teas, with a variety of cakes, and scones, jam and cream. As the afternoon warms up the ice cream will cool you down!
Extra special items will be on the Silent Auction – come and make a bid, then add to is during the afternoon is someone else wasn’t that you’ve bid for!
Win prizes on the games, bottles on the tombola – the children’s tombola will have a prize every time. IT’s only 50p to get in (free to under 18’s) and your programme may win you a bottle of champagne.

So do tell your friends, come along and have a fun and relaxing afternoon!
